After having been very sick I am finally back in Azeroth.
I've caught quite a few pets over the last few days including a Crested Owl in Dolanaar, a Forest Spiderling and Crimson Moth in Cape of Stranglethorn, and in Duskwood I caught a Dusk Spiderling and a rare Mouse.
I was able to get the Rotten Hallow achievement for ruining Hallow's End for the Horde and foiling their attempts to ruin Hallow's End for the Alliance.
To round out the last few days I found some Fossil Fragments in the Western Plaguelands and I caught a Black Rat in Anhorhal and a Snow Cub in Dun Morogh.

I started off the morning (yesterday morning) by increasing my First-Aid skill by 10 levels.
I'll be using the "Tribute Gun" I just acquired. It'll be strange using a gun since I'm used the the crossbow but, it is a lot more powerful than what I have now.
Ran Dire Maul dungeon and finally finished all the quests in Feralas.
Next step... digging and fishing in Desolace. I dug up 42 Fossil fragments in the Kodo Graveyard and I dug up 80 Night Elf fragments in Mannoroc Coven and Slitherblade Shore. Using a Bright Bauble it took me 3 minutes to fish up a Sar'theris Striker from the Sar'theris Strand.
Last stop before Stormwind was the Zoram Strand in Ashenvale where I dug up 47 Night Elf fragments.
As I promised myself I finally went back to Stormwind to start Pet Battle training. I had a lot of fun winning battles and capturing pets. More fun than I thought I would. LOL I'm even beating some of the master trainers!
I decided to do the quests in the Western Plaguelands next. The thinking was that I could do quests and capture more pets but, I got my butt kicked by a Level 10 Black Rat and a Level 10 Rabbit. I guess I'll have to come back for them later. Did a bunch of quests up by Northridge Lumber Camp and I took care of the intrigue (theft) over at Hearthglen.
I took a break and did the Stratholme dungeon and it was very hard. Maybe because I'm only level 48. It also seemed to take forever.
I went to Chillwind Point and won 5 pet battles there. I also captured a Huge Toad and a Red-Tailed Chipmunk.
I experimented with another guild and just didn't like it. I've decided that I am going to start my own guild. Right now though I'm going to work out my frustrations with guilds by doing a LOT of pet battling.
I won about 3 dozen pet battles and caught a Toad, a Maggot, a Chicken, a Black Rat, a Skunk, a Dusk Spiderling (which is rare), a Parrot, a Long-Tailed Mole, an Adder, a Water Snake, a Lizard Hatchling, a Polly, a Strand Crab, a Beetle, and a Tree Python. All that battling got me the following achievement "Win Streak" (for winning 25 pet battles in a row).
Ending the day was some digging in the Hinterlands were I finally earned the Expert Archaeologist achievement.

Got a lot done today!
I interrupted Cho'Gall's sermon. I ran into those pesky Horde Poachers again while I was getting help from the Mountain Giants and the Faerie Dragons. Those poachers are a real problem here in Feralas. I also took care of a Zukk'ash Infestation and let me tell you... those are some REALLY big wasps.
Looking at some of the guild chat, I decided that I am definitely going to look for another guild. The Highwaymen guild is just not for me. Some of the stuff they find funny isn't and shouldn't be joked about. It's almost like the guild is made up of a bunch of teenagers with no common sense.
Didn't take long before I was invited to the Hells Assassins guild by Lanarkin. There was nothing wrong with this guild. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I think I need a roleplaying guild. I sent out 10 request for memberships to guilds that seem interesting. One guild has only 1 member and that person doesn't seem to want the guild anymore. I wrote to that person to see if they wanted to give me that guild. Having my own guild would be a perfect solution.
I did they archaeology in Feralas on Sardor Isle and I decided to try the fishing on the coast of that isle. Doing a quick 10 minute fishing trip with Bright Bauble I went up 6 fishing leves and caught... 17 Raw Rockscale Cod, 11 Raw Spotted Yellowtail, 3 Firefin Snapper, and 1 Oily Blackmouth.

I decided to do some fishing this morning before I started on my quests. Went up 2 fishing levels at the Tower of Estulan before I continued on to the Verdantis River.
I had a good fishing trip at that river. After about 10 minutes of trying to catch the Feralas Ahi I put a Bright Bauble on my fishing line and caught that fish in less than a minute! I fished for another 10 minutes and boy am I gland that I did. In this 20 minute fishing trip I went up 17 fishing levels, earned the Master Fisherman achievement (which came as a surprise because I didn't realize I was that close to getting it), and I caught enough fish to raise my cooking level up 24 levels!!!
While fishing I ran into a nice male dwarf named Reamos who was searching for an herb.
My first quest today is to find the Lost Apprentice in the Darkmist Ruins. I killed a bunch of Gordunni Ogres on my way to the ruins and while I was digging at the ruins I took care of some bothersome poachers. I also took care of some ogres over at Dire Maul.
I took a break about mid-day and ran Zul'Farrak. Had a good group so it didn't take long to get rid of all those trolls.

YES!!!! I now have the Fossilized Hatchling and I can't wait to start training him. I also finally put together the rare Night Elf artifact Fountain of Knowledge. Not really sure if it has any real effect but... it definitely looks cool.
I've decided to run a few dungeons to increase experience because I'll need to be at a higher level in order to increase my archaeology.
It's working because after a run in Dire Maul and after killing some Searing Roc while digging at the Southmoon Ruins in Tanaris I am now Level 46.
I don't really like dungeons too much. I'm going to head to Feralas where I can do quests and archaeology. And I promise myself that after I'm done questing in Feralas I will go back to Stormwind and start training my Fossilized Hatchling.

Currently I'm at level 45 and my main pet is a tiger. Today I'm questing in the Southern Barrens. So far, I've dealt with a fire at Bael'dun Keep, hunted some Disturbed Earth Elementals, killed a bunch of Razormane Quilboar, and had a bit of fun setting explosives in Frazzlecraze Motherlode Mine.
I did some archaeology work in the Fields of Blood. Archaeology is my true passion. I can't wait until the day I am a Zen Master in archaeology. I'm only a Journeyman right now so... I have a lot of goals and achievements to accomplish.
I try to do some archaeology everyday. Even if it takes me out of my way. With all the fossil fragments I found in the Fields of Blood I'm only 7 fragments away from completing a rare artifact called Fossilized Hatchling.
I also hope to someday own a dragon. lol I'm not even sure that is possible but, I'm going to try. Being a battle pet master is another thing that holds quite a bit of interest for me.
I've just finished earning the Southern Barrens Quests achievement. It looks like I still have a few quests to finish in the Southern Barrens before I go off to find those last 7 fossil fragments.
